About Purse on Point

Formed in 2019, and having trained over 6000 women in Zimbabwe, Uganda, Rwanda and South Arica, Purse on Point Africa seeks to foster the economic prosperity of women in Africa by providing financial literacy & entrepreneurship training, and building a network of like-minded female entrepreneurs committed to growing their enterprises in a sustainable and socially responsible manner. The Purse on Point Community of Practice network has over 3000 women to date.

Our Vision

A world where empowerment and financial inclusion prevail.

We envision a world where empowerment and financial inclusion are not just ideals but everyday realities. A world where individuals especially those from underserved communities, have the knowledge, resources, and opportunities to build thriving businesses, secure financial stability, and create generational wealth.

We believe that access to technology, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy training can unlock potential and transform lives. By providing the right tools and support, we are shaping a future where women-regardless of background-can participate in and benefit from the global economy.

Our Mission

At Purse on Point, we seek to create African women changemakers through financial literacy and multi-purpose entrepreneurship training.

Our Programs

Purse on Point equips women with financial knowledge and entrepreneurial skills to build sustainable businesses and create lasting change in their communities, through expert-led training, mentorship, and hands-on support. Our consolidated objectives are:

  • To promote sustainable business development. We seek to establish and maintain Africa's competitive advantage in sustainable business practices, leveraging local, regional, and regional private-public partnerships.
  • To provide economic information and aid resource mobilization. We disseminate business information, economic intelligence, and mobilize resources to achieve our vision.
  • To promote innovation, skills advancement, and technology advancement to boost economic growth.
  • To promote the development of a smart green economy and sustainable investments in line with SDGs and Global Climate Action Goals.
